The match is a history as it contains lots of records that are achieved in the One Day International cricket matches. Australia won the toss and chose batting. Pace of the match started from the very first ball. Opening wicket partnership secured 98 runs.

DIABETES is one of the most common diseases. Diabetes is common to people above 40 years. It caused due to an increase in blood sugar level. It may be caused due to hereditary factors. Insulin is the most important hormone which is secreted in the pancreas, which controls the glucose level in the blood. The improper secretion of insulin leads to diabetes mellitus commonly known as diabetes. The main symptoms are excessive urination which leads to increased thirst, weight loss and also increased consumption of food. Glucose is eliminated with urine. Diabetes also causes a delay in the healing of wounds in our body. The main treatment of diabetes involves insulin injections and also following a proper dieting and exercises. With an improper secretion of insulin the glucose in our body is not converted in to glycogen and thus it is not stored in the body and eliminated with urine. Insulin injections are given to compensate the improper secretion of insulin. The normal glucose level in our body is 80-120 mg and if the glucose level exceeds the normal value, the condition is called Hyperglycemia and if the glucose level is below 80 mg then it is Hypoglycemia. Diabetes also leads to blurred vision and mental stress. So a proper dieting and exercises are the best medicine against diabetes. If a strict dieting is followed this disease can be minimized in the future.

Finally Mozilla has come up with its new version of Firefox – the much awaited version 3.5 – last week . Firefox 3.5, since its development, faced increasing challenges from its new found competitor Chrome, IE 8 etc. This version of Firefox is definitely a step-up from the older versions. It is available in more than 70 languages. It covers major mainly on the addition of enhanced HTML5 video and audio support; a newer rendering and JavaScript engine makes the browser worth downloading. Apart from the possible issues with add-ons in the beginning I do not find anything that should stop you short of updating to this latest version. The much hyped private browsing mode could still be improved with support for simultaneous sessions. Personally, Try this new version of Firefox

DOING IT TOUGH

May 9, 2010 - 5:38 pm No Comments

As it turned out, this was very much the case during the pre- fishing day and two seven-hour competition sessions of the BREAM Tournament. Anglers generally did it tough on a river that’s renowned for turning on excellent catches of big bream at times.
Plenty of lovely fish ended up swimming happily in the Reef Science display tank at the end of the event(and were subsequently released back into the river), but five-fish limits were hard to come by and the 1.5 kg-plus bluenose bream this waterway is famous for were noticeable by their absence.
A major limiting factor is the schizophrenic nature of the speed limit zones imposed on the Glenelg. The powers-that-be deserve a good kick in their collective backsides for the shambling mishmash of four, five, six, eight and 10 knot zones, interspersed with short, unrestricted water ski areas, that turn this estuary into a minefield for anyone trying to do the right thing (as competitors are naturally obliged to during ABT events, if they wish to avoid disqualification). Add poor signage and the habit of some locals to simply ignore these restrictions and you come up with a very confusing picture for fist-time visitors.
The bottom line is that its physically impossible to travel more than a dozen or so kilometers upstream from the town launching rams, fish for a few hours and then get back to the weigh-in with your catch within a seven hour tournament session, at least if you strictly abide by the constantly changing speed restrictions. This effectively limited competitor to the lower reaches downstream from about Sapling Creek. Fortunately, there were at least a few bream still to be found in this area, including some rather nice, silvery-hued specimens out on the flats and gutters near the river mouth. However, a bit of exploration further upstream after the competition soon revealed far higher bream densities in the reaches around Skip worth Springs Pilchard,Saunders Landing and wild Dog Bend. Clearly, this reflected the long, dry summer and upstream intrusion of that salt wedge! mentioned earlier.
