Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome is one of the vital diseases threatening the world. It mainly attacks and destroys the Immune system of a person, thus destroying the resistance power of the body against other diseases. It is caused mainly due to the Human Immunodeficiency Virus. It is transmitted by mucous, blood and other fluids of the body. It is mainly transmitted through Contaminated Syringes. Genetic transmission and Sexual transmission are the other ways of transmission of AIDS. The disastrous situation is that there is no proper vaccine against this disease. AIDS may lead to a death of a person. A person suffering from AIDS can easily be affected by other diseases as AIDS destroys immune system of the person. HIV destroys the white blood cells T-helper cells of the immune system. The prevention of AIDS is possible by avoiding the use of contaminated syringes and the body fluids of the affected persons. Antiviral therapy is a current treatment for AIDS. The progression of HIV in children is more rapid than in adults. There are some medicines given to the affected people which temporarily cure the effect of this disease. Many medical experts on the world are still researching for a proper vaccine against AIDS. So a proper awareness must be created among the people against this disease.

Partition Manager Personal.

July 18, 2010 - 7:25 pm No Comments

If you had purchased a hard disk with huge memory in it and finding a way to partition according to your wish then partition Manager Software is the apt solution for your quench. It has quite attractive features that made the pc users to go for it. Partition manager can create, format, delete, move, unite, set and even conceal partitions, but doesn’t support conversion of the partition between FAT, FAT32, EXT2 and EXT3 file systems. The only drawback that really pulls this partition tool down is that it is incompatible with Vista.
Drive Backup has a great imaging tool, and it was second only to Acronis an another application in the time taken to create an image of a Vista hard disk at eight minutes. It also supports differential backups, something we would advise readers to start using to save on storage space. On the downside, there isn’t a lot of scope in picking the types of files to be backed up, and it doesn’t do live system backups either-a major failing point in our eyes.It costs about 20 to 25 US dollars which is less than other partition software. After considering all features partition manager suits best for many users.

Fisheries Rewarding Anglers

July 17, 2010 - 5:45 pm No Comments

FISHERIES Victoria has a freshwater research projects underway for Murray cod and trot. To recognize the contribution that anglers make to these projects the Department has produced a range of customized lures as ‘thank-you’ giveaway.
Murray cod stocking trails in the kiering Lakes, London River and lower Goulburn River depend on anglers reporting the capture of dart tagged fish so that researchers can track movement growth and capture rates over time.
To reward those anglers fortunate enough to catch a tagged cod, the Department offers a Stump Jumper lure along with a thank you letter. The blue size 2 Stump Jumpers are unique and might end up on the mantle piece for those keen anglers who already have overflowing tackle boxes. No doubt others will cast and troll their new toy on the next available opportunity!

Customized Winston Tasmanian Devil lure are the equivalent reward for trout anglers who assist with releasing trout and salmon or voluntarily participate in creel surveys like those underway at Lake Modewarre the Hopkins, Merri, Gollum and Macalister River.

Comodo Firewall.

We all know that windows operating system provides a firewall application to protect our computer but the number of vulnerabilities that can attack the system is increasing day by day. In order to escape from this additional firewall application need to be installed. Now we will see about comodo firewall pro which is quite different application used to navigate and understand, with unclear information provided throughout its interface. Unfortunately, there is a lot of information available for the user, but only experts can dig in further. Thankfully, its handy help is available to pull you out of any loophole, with some listings, which are always related to the context.
In fact, advanced users can drill down and specify the security rules in its configuration menu, and try to understand complex rule groups in a single click but an average user be able to do with this program? Not a lot, it is optimally configured by default so that you will never have to go in-depth, as a slider system allows you to quickly change your security level. It’s easy on the eye with an Active Connections window which provides the user with total visibility over all Internet traffic in and out of the computer, and smart pop up alerts.
It is absolutely free and provides excellent protection. The new release comodo internet security comes with both the firewall and anti-virus engine combined for even better protection. The only problem is confusing interface.

Salt Wedges

July 7, 2010 - 5:47 pm No Comments

From my reading I knew that this was a classic salt wedge estuary. Winter rains typically force a strong freshwater flow down the system. Eventually (in wet years) this fresh almost totally displaces the brackish tidal water .Pushing it back to the shallow, silted mouth. As run off rates fall in spring, each successive incoming tide pushes more salty, oceanic water back into the river and this forms a saline ‘wedge’ underneath the surface freshwater. This wedge of soft water gradually migrates up steam and becomes thicker. In a dry summer and autumn, the salt wedge can travel scores of kilometer up river. Come winter and the first heavy rainfalls, the whole cycle begins again.
A wild card is thrown into the equation by the fact that the deeper, salty water-which would appear to be ideal habitat for many marine species-loses its dissolved oxygen though summer and can become almost anoxic(lacking in oxygen)by autumn, particularly in drought year. This has a significant impact on fish location and can mean that the bottoms of deeper holes are almost lifeless. The dynamic and complex nature of salt wedge hydrology and the sheer scale of the Glenelg mean that its fish stocks can and do move around a great deal, both vertically within the water column and-more significantly-up and down some 40 to60 km of potentially tidal river. Put simply, they aren’t always easy to find.

Upriver and the creeks

July 3, 2010 - 5:50 pm No Comments

The very upper reaches of rivers and creeks provide almost the only tropical freshwater
Fishing that is accessible without a boat or canoe. Always remember that wherever there’s water, crocus are a possibility. Be mindful of the danger but if you keep your eyes open and use some common sense it should be safe enough.
Often overlooked when southern anglers are considering a trip north, small rivers and creeks are soul food anywhere. However, while the fish are likely to be about the size of the average bass, on any half decent size creek, you are likely to catch as many sootiest and small barres in a day as a competent bass fisher would expect to catch all summer.
Walking San be rough, and so too can casting be demanding. Canoes are better if there’s enough water, and you can expect to have to go to some lengths to find access.
Access to tropical small water is generally for the keen and fit only, but the fishing’s fantastic! Don’t forget there are no sootiest on the Eastern Cape north of the Dainties. That’s jungle perch country.
