Yoga

Yoga is fun and relaxing one, at the same time it is been a deliciously taking exception to beginners. There are different kinds of yoga for different things. Many have been modified from different countries. Yoga is been originated in India. There are different types of yoga is been classified like Karma yoga or yoga of action, Bhakti Yoga or yoga of devotion, Jnana yoga or yoga of Knowledge, Power Yoga and so on. Power Yoga is one of the famous one used still now in many counties. Power yoga increases muscle endurance and flexibility. Yoga mainly centering on the mind usually teaches you to let your body take over work while your mind releases. Yoga is fairly passive, but it is possible to engage it from a personal level. For actual workouts, I wouldn’t use it, but I find it very relaxing in combination with general exercise. That way I cater to both my body and my mind and neither is deprived. There are lots of benefits in yoga some of the benefits I list out here:
• It improves blood circulation.
• It infuses a sense of balance and internal harmony.
• It boosts your physical strength, stamina and flexibility.
• It imparts greater powers of concentration and self control.
• It helps in rehabilitation of old and new injuries.
• It brings down stress and enhances powers of relaxation.

• It cleanses and improves overall organ functioning and so on.
Yoga surely enhances your strength, energy, vitality, flexibility and levels of survival.

It is been assumed that most part of heart disease and stroke attacks in the rich country only, but over 80% of deaths from cardiovascular disease occur in low and middle income countries. Everyone needs a worldwide effort if we are to have a significant impact. Instead of trying to do exercise separately by going to gyms by paying money one can learn to do exercise in day to day activities like using the staircase instead of lifts and using the bicycle instead of car or bike for short distance. At a time when governments and business leaders are devoting considerable amounts of energy, and billions of dollars, to improve the health of global financial systems, attention should also be directed to the health of the workforce. Children should be encouraged to do physical activities like sports and games or do any other activities, which involve household work or working in the fields etc. This is more applicable where we have missed a lot of opportunities to work in the fertile land. To make our future generation healthy preventive measures have to be started in school. 80% of the cardiovascular deaths occur due to smoking, lack of exercise and unhealthy eating habits. Children should be taught about the ill effects of smoking, the importance of proper, regular physical exercise and a healthy eating habit. Today western countries face the problem of child obesity. So what is the solution for this problem?? It is not that always people should concern about the foods they eat, the work they do and etc. There are some steps to work with heart, which can be followed. Be physically active during the daytime by actively participating in the sports or fitness group with your friends. Walk or play or exercise during the launch break. Stick on the statement smokes free environment. Always choose healthy foods and enjoy your life without heart problems.

Alcoholism

Alcoholism is another dreadful habit which is hazardous to health. Like smoking, alcoholism also causes various diseases to our health. Alcoholism is the practice of consuming alcoholic beverages. It has also became an addiction in many cases and people are still suffering and taking efforts to overcome this addiction. Alcohol consumption mainly affects the Liver to a greater extent. It also causes stress, mental depression and attacks the brain. It also causes hypertension and damages the various parts of the body. Many alcoholic beverages generally affect the drinker’s health and consciousness. People had the habit of consuming alcohols during parties, functions etc. But soon this became a regular habit and thus people are addicted. Consumption of alcohols by many vehicle drivers is the source of most of the accidents. The teenagers are commonly addicted to this habit in many countries. Alcoholism generally affects the physical and social life of the people. In many cases it causes mental depressions and finally leads to suicide. There are several institutions which provide different treatments to people who are affected by this habit. So spending money to buy alcohols is like buying a disease. So this habit must be minimized and it is very necessary to create awareness among people, especially among the teenagers about alcoholism and its ill effects.

Cancer

Cancer is the most dreadful disease in the world. Some people consider cancer as an incurable disease. There are many types of cancer in which most of the type leads to death. It is caused due to an uncontrolled growth and development of cells called cancer cells in our body. These cells rapidly spread to other body parts and causes malfunction of various organs. The most dangerous type of cancer is the Blood Cancer (leukemia) which leads to death in most of its cases. The science which deals with the study and treatment of cancer is called oncology. Cancer is developed due to tobacco smoking, chemical radiations, microbial diseases etc. Tobacco smoking leads to lung cancer which is one of the common types of cancer. At the beginning there were no proper medicines for cancer and the affected people died. Now there are some treatments for cancer which include surgery and other treatments like radiotherapy and chemotherapy which is considered as an effective treatment for cancer. Many cancer institutes are studying about the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. Cancer can be cured if diagnosed in the developmental stage else it spreads rapidly to various body parts leading to the death of the organism. A proper dieting, avoiding harmful radiations, abolishing alcoholism and smoking can prevent cancer to a greater extent. A proper awareness must be developed among the people about cancer, its effects and prevention.

Drug addiction

Drug addiction is one of the greatest threats to the teenagers. People who are frustrated by repeated failures, mental stress are common victims of drug addiction. The drugs must be taken in a small quantity with a doctor advice. If a person consumes the drug without proper advice of the doctor, he gets addicted to the drug. Some strangers attract the youngsters and make them a victim of the drug. Nicotine, cocaine are some of the common drugs. Sleeping pills (benzodiazepine) are given to patients suffering from severe injuries. If it is taken without proper medical advice it causes drowsiness and in some cases it leads to death. Addiction to alcohol is also considered as drug addiction. Nicotine is present in cigarettes and it is taken in the form of smoking. The effects of these drugs become severe in final stages. It causes severe weakness and makes the person unconscious. It also affects the person health and cause mental depressions. The drug affects the nervous system and weakens the body. It is difficult for the victims to overcome this addiction immediately. The person must be given a proper care. Many institutes are trying to help the victims to overcome the addiction. Abolishing alcohol consumption and use of illegal drugs are ways to prevent drug addiction. Drugs must be taken with proper medical advice and it is very essential to spread the awareness among the people about drug addiction. They must be shown the right way to prevent and overcome the use of illegal drugs.

DIABETES

DIABETES is one of the most common diseases. Diabetes is common to people above 40 years. It caused due to an increase in blood sugar level. It may be caused due to hereditary factors. Insulin is the most important hormone which is secreted in the pancreas, which controls the glucose level in the blood. The improper secretion of insulin leads to diabetes mellitus commonly known as diabetes. The main symptoms are excessive urination which leads to increased thirst, weight loss and also increased consumption of food. Glucose is eliminated with urine. Diabetes also causes a delay in the healing of wounds in our body. The main treatment of diabetes involves insulin injections and also following a proper dieting and exercises. With an improper secretion of insulin the glucose in our body is not converted in to glycogen and thus it is not stored in the body and eliminated with urine. Insulin injections are given to compensate the improper secretion of insulin. The normal glucose level in our body is 80-120 mg and if the glucose level exceeds the normal value, the condition is called Hyperglycemia and if the glucose level is below 80 mg then it is Hypoglycemia. Diabetes also leads to blurred vision and mental stress. So a proper dieting and exercises are the best medicine against diabetes. If a strict dieting is followed this disease can be minimized in the future.

Osteoporosis

Osteoporosis is one of the common health diseases. Osteoporosis is a disease which is mainly caused to older women at the age of 50.This diseases leads may lead to weakness of bones. The diseases lead to hip wrist spine bone may get crack. Here bone loses is a silent process and Have no symptoms. A sudden fall may result in breakage of bone. Till that time you won’t be aware that you are having osteoporosis. It may occur in any age. Especially to older men and women it is due to lack of bone strength .Medicine can reduce bone loss and to build bone thickness. You should take calcium and vitamin supplements with this medicine for healthy bone. You can cure osteoporosis by quit smoking and drinking and by walking jogging, having healthy foods like (milk, egg fish) and many more.

Obesity

Obesity is not a disease but it is a condition in which there is an additional fat accumulated in our body which may affect our health. It is caused due to the excess of the adipose tissue in our body. Intake of high calorie foods, lack of proper exercise also causes obesity. There are many methods to measure the body fat. The skinfold test, hydrostatic weighing are some effective methods to measure our body fat. There are few other methods which are not much effective and accurate. Obesity leads to various diseases like diabetes, blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases and may lead to cancer. It generally makes a person less active. The major concern of the people is the Childhood Obesity. The important causes are a change in the diet and lack of physical activities. Playing, running, swimming are the best physical activities for children, and many calories in our body are burnt in these activities. The decrease in such physical activities is a main cause for childhood obesity. There are some preventive measures for obesity which include Maintaining a proper diet, proper physical exercises and proper physical activities. Proper diet includes the consumption of low caloric food like vegetables and fruits. Low fat content foods are encouraged. So by these methods obesity can easily prevented and these methods also makes our body more active and fresh.
